What is the difference with a lick?

HELTIE horse® Minerals is richer than the traditional horse lick or Himalayan salt blocks. Licks contain a limited number of minerals. HELTIE horse® Minerals contains more than 85 different minerals and trace elements.
By adding minerals to the ration you provide your horse with all these elements, including the elements that the horse does not get through a lick.
