And no, not because we want to earn more with our products! As you may have already heard on social media or in a personal consultation with us, we, unfortunately, have to increase the prices of our products on 1st January 2023. In this blog, we would like to explain the reason for this.

First of all, we don't like it!

We have been facing a price increase for 2 years. We see rising prices everywhere around us, not only at our competitors and privately in the supermarket. But as a company, we also have to expect price increases. Bottles, labels, raw materials, transport, energy... all these prices have gone up. Until now, we have decided not to increase our prices. We were hoping the world would calm down and prices would stabilize or even go down. Unfortunately, after 2 years, the prices continue to rise. And because we have never raised prices since we started, we can't avoid it now.

We decided for less profit, but we reached our limit

We don't like price increases. We are horse owners ourselves and know that keeping horses is an expensive hobby in itself. Therefore, we don't want to burden you with higher prices, but unfortunately, we have reached a limit. So far, we have opted for a lower profit, but as prices continue to rise, that is no longer an option.

Higher prices as of 1st January 2023

Unfortunately, this means that from 1st January 2023, the prices for our products will increase. We do not have a fixed percentage by which we increase prices. For each product, we check how much the increases are and how far we have to increase. So it can sometimes be better, but it can also be worse. In any case, we will do our utmost to keep the increasing of the prices as low as possible. We are not a company that automatically raises prices every year, we only raise prices when there is really no other option. And hopefully, it will be a long time now before it becomes necessary again.
